入選 / Sharjah Children’s Books Illustrations Exhibition 2017

ドバイはシャルジャで4月に開かれるシャルジャ国際絵本見本市で、

絵本用イラストを展示してもらえることとなりました。

海のたまご、というシリーズです。

見本市と合わせて開かれるこのコンペティションでは、

世界各国のイラストレーターが応募しています。

入選できて嬉しいです。

"Eggs in the sea"

The theme of this picture book is creatures and their eggs in the sea.

The forms of eggs in the sea are so various and fascinating that they capture our interests and imaginations. Following existing unique eggs, you will find an egg of mermaid who looks like us in a half way, in the end.

You will never know what it is at first. However, when you know it you will feel surprised and excited.

なお、見本市に今年は日本人イラストレーター団体が展示参加するそうです。

私もボローニャの国際絵本見本市で大変お世話になったクリエーイターズファクトリーさん主催です。
